Rolfing is a system of soft tissue manipulation and movement education that organizes the whole body in gravity. Rolfing bodywork affects the body’s posture and structure by manipulating the myofascial system (connective tissue). Research has demonstrated that Rolfing creates more efficient muscle use, allows the body to conserve energy, and creates more efficient movement patterns. Ten sessions within a short time frame are recommended to achieve the full potential from your Rolfing sessions. Rolfing requires visual assessment of the body, so come to your session wearing underwear or a 2-piece bathing suite. Arrive to your session well hydrated and prepared to see big changes in your body.
